August Branch Social

In a break from tradition, the branch will be getting together on the first Friday in August (the 6th) for a social gathering across two Real Ale pubs in Johnstone. It has been noted that The Thorn Inn has Real Ale on hand pump, so we'll be popping in there to show our support, before heading on down to Callums for a bite to eat and a few pints. All in moderation, of course.

We'll start off in The Thorn about 6pm before meandering on down to Callums for about 7pm. If you can't meet us that early, I'm sure we'll be in Callums for a few hours so please come and join us.
In case you were wondering, the branch normally take a break from meetings as many of the members attend the Great British Beer Festival. This year there should be plenty of people who'll be staying at "home", so we thought it would be a good idea to get together without any of the formality of a branch meeting for a change.
