Kenny and I went into the Wallace Tavern on Monday lunchtime this week. They had Shepherd Neame's 'Spitfire' on tap and the bar person we spoke to said they were planning to stock at least one of the Kelburn beers very soon. It's a massive pub with lounge, separate bar and a pool room between the lounge and bar. The staff seemed enthusiastic about stocking real ale and keen to see it take off. We will certainly be paying them another visit soon to see how it is working out.

We went back to the Wallace Tavern on Saturday March 6th. We had a pint each of Abbot Ale which was fine and cost £2.65 a pint. No sign of the Kelburn ales yet which was disappointing but we'll return next month and see how they are getting on.

The Howword Inn looks like a nice place to go to.  Do you go there a lot?
